ENABLING THE HYDROGEN ECONOMY

Our technology unlocks decarbonization of gaseous networks. Exposure of pipeline steels to hydrogen, even at low blending percentages, could lead to hydrogen embrittlement and stress-induced cracking. Despite efforts dedicated to the design of hydrogen-resistant alloys and pipe-in-pipe solutions, replacing or deploying new infrastructure is prohibitively expensive and time-consuming. We believe our hydrogen-barrier coating is the answer.

The application of Arculus protective coating represents an economically viable solution that would enable the continued use of current infrastructure without expensive delays, repairs or replacements, thus accelerating the introduction of hydrogen into the energy mix. Our coating can operate at high pressures and at any hydrogen blending content, including pure hydrogen.
